All is cozy in the coop this morning...positively warm interactions on this negative temperature kind of winter morning in Wisconsin.
This sweet hen is Matilda. She has always been one to randomly fly onto a shoulder and then proceed to talk your ear off once there. She is a heritage breed chicken, a Dominique, and this breed is currently listed as Watch status with the Livestock Conservancy.
