It’s been an eventful few months at Timeless Acres, some good, some not so good moments, but all presented us with opportunities to learn and grow. So there’s that.
With all the not so good unfolding in our world, nationally and globally, I am going to focus less on the lessons we’ve learned over these past few months and more on bringing some of the “good.”
MORE CHICKENS!! We added a small flock of seven more heritage breed chickens, three more Dominques and new to us, four Speckled Sussex. They are 3 ½ months old today and still working on integrating with our Big Girl flock that we already had. One day at a time.
To assist in the integration, we wanted to be sure there were plenty of places they could all go to find shade, cover and/or separation during the day when needed.
Until the goats found it. When chicken cover becomes a goat playground.
