We are no longer breeding Oberhasli goats.  Our herd now serves an important role in our pasture managment program.

Our lambs are dam fed, and bottle fed when needed and lambs tails are docked at 2 days old.

We use a Contact List and when lambs are born, we will go through that list in the order received.  A non refundable 50.00 deposit is then due within 7 days to reserve lamb(s), check or money order. 

If deposits are not received in that timeframe, we will then move to the next person on the list.

Balance of payment on your lamb(s) will be due before they leave for their new home, money order or cash.

 

Due to biosecurity practices, lambs cannot be returned once they leave to their new home.  However, if for any reason you are unable to keep or care for them, please feel free to contact us and we may be able to help you find them a new and caring home.

Lambs are typically sent to their new homes at 12 weeks of age. If buyer has not picked up lamb(s) or made pick up arrangements by this time, we will then offer the kid(s) to next person on Contact List.

 

We ensure that all of the lambs leave in good health, and any illness that occurs after their arrival in their new home is the responsibility of the new owners.

It is important for us to know that our lambs will be going to a home where they will be treated with the respect they deserve and to ensure this we will have a few questions for you prior to purchase.  We want this to be a positive experience for both you and them.   

 

Sheep need companionship to thrive.  One requirement we have is that you have at least one lamb/sheep companion and ideally, if introducing a lamb to an existing herd, that you have at least two so they can have a compainion that is their age/size and of similar herd status.

Pick up and transportation are the responsibility of the buyer and we do not transport/ship kids via airlines.
