We take the care and health of all of our animals seriously.

Each day starts with cleaning, feeding, watering and a check on every animals overall well being and of course, lots of hugs.

All of our goats and sheep receive annual CD&T vaccinations (Clostridium perfringens type C + D and tetanus)

Our goats and sheep are grass fed (pasture and hay).  They have daily access to a pasture area year round as well as grass/clover mix hay from our chemical free hayfield.  They are also provided free choice loose minerals.

We utilize a pasture rotation to enhance our pasture re-growth as well as reduce internal parasite infection.  We use chemical de-wormers when necessary.

non-GMO feed is given daily to pregnent ewes the last 4-5 weeks of pregnancy.  We continue to give this feed to our ewes while they are nursing/lactating.

To ensure they are off to a balanced start, lambs also receive a small amount of the same type of grain once a day starting at 3 weeks through weaning.

They will also recieve Selenum and Vit E (we live in a selenuim deficent area) shortly after they are born

and probiotics given during any feed transitions or times of stress.

Our chickens are fed organic feed throughout the year.

From April to end of November all of our chickens are free ranging in the same pastures along side the goats and sheep and get their fill of bugs, vegetation, frogs, etc.  They are all securely tucked into their pasture coop each night.

Our starter flock of Clun Forest sheep came from flocks that are Scrapies Free Flock Certified.

We test for CAE/OPP and Johnes.  We have a clean tested herd/flock.

We have not had any presence or concerns of CL or Hoof Rot.

Any new additions to Timeless Acres come from a disease free herd/flock and are quarnatined for a miniumum of 14 days.
